The cheerful doer

     I am speaking to everyone today, do you do everything cheerfully or with a downtrodden heart and spirit?
The bible says: Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 ESV.
This means that no matter what you are going through if you go about doing what God wants then He will help you.
I know half the time I am not happy with how my life went and I wished things could have gone differently but I know now that it has turned out for the better. We all go through times in our life when we will need God's strength to get us through the tough times but that does not mean we should be sad about our trials.

There is a favourite song of mine: Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. I hope we can all find God's love and peace as we go through life.

Our prayer for today should be to learn how to be more cheerful everyday and delight ourselves in the Lord.

Running to Jesus

Two weeks ago at church while in prayer meeting I felt the need to tell the congregation about something I felt God saying to me. I felt God was saying to run to Him and to not walk but that we should run.

                I found this verse about running and it is very fitting to what I was hearing

                    When you walk, your step will not be hampered,

                      and if you run, you will not stumble,  Proverbs 4:12 ESV.

I guess the Lord was saying that if we run to Him we will not stumble. I got another word from God and He was saying that He will build his temple from the ground up. Like a seed in the ground ready to sprout forth new leaves. The feeling I got was that there will be new beginnings and to get ready for them.


God is slowly starting to answer my prayers and the prayers of people I know too.
My old church will have their own building Lord willing and if God wills then my church will too.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1 ESV

We need to get ready for when God builds His temple and get ready for the harvest after it is sprouted.


                                         Be ready to run to Him.
